XICO PICADINHO - ODE AO APODRECIMENTO

Xico Picadinho é uma banda de blackened deathgrind, formada em meados de 2008, em São Paulo, inicialmente com uma proposta mais grindcore, lançaram em 2009 uma demo e um split 5 way, em 2014 gravaram o EP "Hecatombe Canibal, Libidos Prazeres, Lúgubres Desejos", que consolidou uma  linha mais blackened death grind, proposta esta que mantém atualmente, mesmo levando um nome de um serial killer, sua postura e de seus integrantes é completamente antifascista (os caras usaram da licença poética ao substituir o 'ch' pelo 'x') e com isso você imagina que a Xico Picadinho seja um grupo que aborda temas splatter, gore ou sobre assassinos em série como a Church of Misery, por exemplo. Bem, as letras neste registro tem um caráter mais realista/pessimista em relação ao futuro e as ações do homem, o vazio da existência, a morte e o nada. Quanto a barulho feito pela Xico Picadinho, os caras tocam grindcore e com uma forte influência de Nasum (aliás, eles até gravaram para esse registro "Mass Hypnosis", cover da Nasum) e também death metal como na faixa "Bulbo Negro". Xico Picadinho is a blackened deathgrind band formed in mid 2008 in São Paulo, initially with a more grindcore proposal, they released in 2009 a demo and is a split with 4 other bands, in 2014 they recorded the EP "Hecatombe Canibal, Libidos Prazeres, Lúgubres Desejos" and has constructed a more blackened deathgrind theme, which continues in their music today, despite the fact that they took their name from a serial killer, its stance and its members is completely antifascist (the guys used the poetic license to replace the 'ch' with the 'x' - in the Portuguese language these two words have similar sounds in the company of vowels) and with this you can imagine that Xico Picadinho is a group that deals with lyrical themes like splatter, gore or serial killers like the Japanese band Church of Misery, for example. Well, the lyrics in this record have a more realistic/pessimistic character regarding the future and the actions of man, the emptiness of existence, death and nothingness. As for the noise made by Xico Picadinho, the guys play grindcore with a strong influence of Nasum (they even recorded for this record "Mass Hypnosis" a Nasum cover song) and also death metal like in the track "Bulbo Negro".
