WAR//PLAGUE - INTO THE DEPTHS

"Into The Depths" é o novo álbum da War//Plague que foi lançado no final de 2018, sucedendo o espetacular "Carrion", o álbum de 2016. Neste registro composto por dez faixas, a War//Plague mantém a chama da insurreição acesa, na qual é possível sentir/ouvir toda a raiva e fúria em relação a esse mundo injusto. Uma das características de "Into The Depths" são os riffs e acordes das guitarras que em determinadas faixas estão com uma atmosfera mais negra, sombria e metálica, além é claro, o magnífico trabalho do baterista Chad Papa com boas batidas e pedais duplos muito bem sincronizados com o ritmo das músicas. Como esta resenha está sendo postada em 2019, devo lembrar que este ano marca o aniversário de dez anos da banda e também do lançamento da primeira demo da War//Plague, que eu escutei muito. Enfim, "Into The Depths" é um dos destaques de 2018.

"Into The Depths" is the new War//Plague album that was released in late 2018, following the spectacular "Carrion" album of 2016. In this record composed of ten tracks, War//Plague keeps the flame of the rising insurrection, in which it is possible to feel/hear all the rage and fury towards this unjust world. One of the characteristics of "Into The Depths" is the riffs and chords of the guitars that in certain tracks have a darker, doomy and metallic atmosphere, and of course, the magnificent work of drummer Chad Papa with good beats and double pedals very well synchronized with the rhythm of the songs. As this review is being posted in 2019, I must remember that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the band and also the launch of the first demo of War//Plague, which I listened to a lot. Well, "Into The Depths" is one of the highlights of 2018.
