1 - A Utopium lançou um split EP com a banda Lifedeceiver, que no qual ficou muito bom. Como foi realizado esse lançamento?O Bruno de Lifedeceiver é amigo da banda e o Jimmy (o nosso baterista) também toca com eles. Um dia atirou-se para o ar a idéia de fazermos um split, já que éramos amigos e ambas as bandas até partilham algo em comum para além das sonoridades distintas, e decidimos então avançar o projecto. A arte ficou ao cargo do Michael (vocalista de Lifedeceiver) e acho que ficou tudo excelente!
2 - Sobre a Lifedeceiver, poderia dizer um pouco sobre eles?
Os Lifedeceiver são uma banda de Hardcore de Leria com influências que vão além dos clichés do género, e isso torna o som deles muito interessante. Têm muita força ao vivo e são todos uns bacanos.
3 - O cover da Siege foi uma homenagem a Kevin Mahoney?
A cover da Siege já tinha sido pensada e gravada muito antes do falecimento do Kevin. Não passou de uma infeliz coincidência. De qualquer maneira fica homenagem feita.
4 - Um novo álbum está pra sair do forno, qual será o título? Poderia dar detalhes desse lançamento?
O título do álbum será "Vicious Consolation/Virtuous Totality". Vai ser um álbum conceptual e fora do comum dentro do género. É um álbum mais maduro. Mais visceral e agressivo. Acho que vai transparecer bem a nossa evolução enquanto banda.

1 - The Utopium released a split EP with the band Lifedeceiver which was very good. How born this release?
Bruno (Lifedeceiver) is a friend of the band and Jimmy (our drummer) also plays with them. One day we had the idea of doing a split since we are friends and the two bands have a something common but with different sounds and we decided to proceed with the project. The art was made by Michael (vocal - Lifedeceiver) and I think everything was excellent!
2 - About Lifedeceiver you could tell a little about them?
The Lifedeceiver are a Hardcore band from Leria with influences that go behind standards of the genre and this makes them sound very interesting . Live the band is very strong and they are all cool people.
3 - The cover song the band Siege was a homage to Kevin Mahoney?
The cover song the band Siege had already been thought and recorder long before the death of Kevin. It was an unfortunable coincidence. Either way is homage.
4 - A new album is to be released and how it called? Could you give details of this release?
The album title is "Vicious Consolation/Virtuous Totality". It will be a concept album and unusual within the genus. It's an album more mature. More visceral and agressive. I think that will show our evolution as a band.
