THE LURKING FEAR - OUT OF THE VOICELESS GRAVE

The Lurking Fear é uma nova banda sueca e os membros são Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg (vocal - At the Gates, Disfear, Sign of Cain, ex-Lock Up, ex-Skitsystem etc), Jonas Stålhammar (guitarra - At the Gates, Bombs of Hades etc), Fredrik Wallenberg (guitarra - Skitsystem, ex-Sarcasm, ex-Embalmed), Andreas "Dread" Axelsson (baixo - Disfear, Tormented, ex-Marduk, ex-Tortyr, ex-Total Terror etc) e Adrian Erlandsson (bateria - At the Gates, The Haunted, Riket, ex-Brujeria, ex-Vallenfyre etc). O som da The Lurking Fear é puro death metal, mas eles não são como as outras grandes e antigas bandas suecas desse gênero e sim, uma banda com originalidade. Obviamente, com essa galera de peso reunida, só poderia sair coisa exclusiva e boa, e de fato, "Out of the Voiceless Grave" é um excelente álbum. O nome da banda é o mesmo nome do livro lançado por H. P. Lovecraft em 1923 e consequentemente é o tema lírico da banda, que é o horror. "Out of the Voiceless Grave" tem doze faixas fodas e "Upon Black Winds" é a melhor música desse álbum, mas destaco também "Vortex Spawn", "The Infernal Dread", "The Cold Jaws of Death", "Tongued with Foul Flames", "Winged Death" e "Beneath Menacing Sands". Completamente aterrorizante e envolvido em uma atmosfera assustadora, The Lurking Fear fez um dos melhores álbuns de 2017. Foda!

The sound of The Lurking Fear is pure death metal, but they are not like the other big and old Swedish bands of that genre, they are a band with originality. Obviously, with those guys together, there could only be something exclusive and good, and in fact, "Out of the Voiceless Grave" is an excellent album. The name of the band is the same name of the book released by H. P. Lovecraft in 1923 and consequently this is the lyrical theme of the band, that is the horror. "Out of the Voiceless Grave" has twelve great fucking tracks and "Upon Black Winds" is the best song of this album, but I also highlight "Vortex Spawn", "The Infernal Dread", "The Cold Jaws of Death", "Tongued with Foul Flames", "Winged Death" and "Beneath Menacing Sands". Completely terrifying and engulfed in a scary atmosphere, The Lurking Fear made one of the best albums of 2017. Great!
