POSSESSED - REVELATIONS OF OBLIVION

Possessed is one of the cornerstones of death metal and extreme music, and this is especially due to the powerful Seven Churches, the band's first album released in 1985, an essential work for anyone who enjoys and admires this kind of sound. In 2019, with a new line up, Possessed released Revelations of Oblivion, the third and most recent album, the first with unreleased songs after thirty-three years, succeeding Beyond The Gates of 1986. Composed of twelve tracks, Revelations of Oblivion is a heavy, aggressive and hellishly powerful album that came to take away all the rust of time and songs like "No More Room in Hell", "Damned", "Demon", "Abandoned", "Omen", "Ritual" and "Graven" give all the dynamics to make this album unforgettable. Obviously, a lot of people will make comparisons with Possessed's first albums, but I don't see any need here, as Revelations of Oblivion is a great record and it definitely deserves your attention, besides it is one of the best metal albums released in 2019. The beautiful cover art was made by Zbigniew Bielak; mixing, mastering, producer and recording by Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy). Possessed: Jeff Becerra (vocals), Emilio Marquez (drums), Daniel Gonzalez (guitars), Robert Cardenas (bass) and Claudeous Creamer (guitars).

Em 2019, com um novo line up, a Possessed lançou Revelations of Oblivion, o terceiro e mais recente álbum com músicas inéditas depois de trinta e três anos, sucedendo Beyond The Gates de 1986. Composto por doze faixas, Revelations of Oblivion é um álbum pesado, agressivo e cheio de poder infernal que veio para tirar toda ferrugem do tempo, onde músicas como "No More Room in Hell", "Damned", "Demon", "Abandoned", "Omen", "Ritual" e "Graven" dão toda a dinâmica para que este álbum ser inesquecível. Obviamente, muitas pessoas vão fazer comparações com os primeiros álbuns da Possessed, mas não vejo necessidade disso por aqui, pois Revelations of Oblivion é um puta registro e que merece sem dúvidas a sua atenção, além disso, é um dos melhores álbuns de metal lançados em 2019.
