AK//47 - LONCATI PAGAR BERDURI

Eu tive a oportunidade de assistir uma apresentação da AK//47 no primeiro semestre de 2018 na Grindhouse em Victorville e achei muito foda, grindcore total! Lembro que troquei uma ideia com Garna e um dos assuntos foi o show da Sepultura na Indonésia no início dos anos 90 e ele me respondeu que isso foi de suma importância para os indonésios, pois a Sepultura vinha de um país do terceiro mundo e isso serviu de inspiração para as pessoas de lá. Depois desse relato, vamos falar do álbum. Influenciados por Terrorizer e Unholy Grave, a AK//47 vem preparada para a guerra e sua arma de luta se chama "Loncati Pagar Berduri" (que significa 'pule o arame farpado'), o terceiro álbum que foi lançado no final de 2018. Composto por treze faixas e cantandas no idioma indonésio, "Loncati Pagar Berduri" aborda a realidade e questões sociais do mundo atual como imigração, chauvinismo, fascismo, homofobia e para exemplificar isso, Garna Radity diz: "O novo álbum é uma resposta a situações na Indonésia e em todo o mundo; Comunidades LGBTQ presas, locais de culto atacados, fraudes políticas usadas como commodities nas mídias sociais e questões de racismo desenfreadas na vida cotidiana e na política. É uma adaptação e uma saída para expressar frustração e raiva total dentro da nossa música grindcore". Diante disso, faixas como "Bebas Berkelamin", "Menggugat Manusia!", "Lempar Petasan ke Podium", "Ayat Untuk Menyayat", "Kepada Bunga Yang Masih Tumbuh di Beton" e "Botol, Bensin, dan Mawar Untukmu" transmitem toda fúria da AK//47. Muito bom! Pra terminar, vale lembrar que a banda que tocou pelos Estados Unidos não é a mesma que gravou este álbum (a turnê americana contou com dois membros da Violent Opposition). AK//47: Garna Raditya (guitarra e vocal), Yogi Ario (bateria) e Novelino Adam (vocal e baixo).

I had the opportunity to watch a performance of AK // 47 in the first half of 2018 at Grindhouse in Victorville and that was amazing, total grindcore! I remember talking to Garna about Sepultura's show in Indonesia in the early 1990's and he told me that this was very important to the Indonesians, because Sepultura came from a third world country and this was an inspiration to the people of over there. After that, let's talk about the album. Influenced by Terrorizer and Unholy Grave, AK//47 is poised for war and their fighting weapon is called "Loncati Pagar Berduri" (meaning 'jump the barbed wire'), the band's third album that was released at the end 2018. Comprised of thirteen tracks and with lyrics in the Indonesian language, "Loncati Pagar Berduri" addresses the reality and social issues of today's world such as immigration, chauvinism, fascism, homophobia and to exemplify this, Garna Radity says: "The new album is a response to situations in Indonesia and throughout the world; LGBTQ communities arrested, places of worship attacked, political hoaxes used as commodities on social media, and issues of racism rampant in everyday life and politics. It’s an adaptation and outlet of expressing frustration and total anger within our grindcore music". Thus, tracks such as "Bebas Berkelamin", "Menggugat Manusia!", "Lempar Petasan ke Podium", "Ayat Untuk Menyayat", "Kepada Bunga Yang Masih Tumbuh di Beton" e "Botol, Bensin, dan Mawar Untukmu" show all the fury of AK//47 guys. Very good! To finish, it is worth remembering that the band that played in the United States is not the same that recorded this album (the American tour counted on two members of Violent Opposition).
