INCANTATION - PROFANE NEXUS

Em fevereiro desse ano de 2018, eu tive o privilégio de assistir a uma gig em Apple Valley com grandes bandas como, Phobia, Incantation e Exhumed e mais duas bandas locais (infelizmente eu não assisti essas duas bandas) e simplesmente foi matador! O frio dominava o local, mas o sangue nas minhas veias esquentou o corpo quando as bandas começaram a tocar. E a Incantation proporcionou um dos melhores shows que eu assisti na minha vida, onde a fúria, a energia e o bate-cabeça se aliaram a blasfêmia musical executada pela banda neste dia, um aula de como tocar death metal. O set list reuniu sons de vários álbuns e isso foi sensacional! Além de John McEntee e Chuck Sherwood serem caras bem gente finas. Depois desse relato e memória recente, "Profane Nexus" é o novo album lançado pela Incantation em 2017 e está espetacular, na qual segue a linha feita em "Dirges of Elyzium"(outro excelente álbum), ou seja, a Incantation continua soando brutal, demoníaca, maligna e cavernosa, sem deixar de ser influenciada por modas do momento ou indústria da música. "Profane Nexus" é um álbum foda no início ao fim, uma paulada atrás da outra, mas eu destaco (difícil escolha) "Muse", Rites of the Locust", "Visceral Hexahedron", "Incorporeal Despair" (lenta, mórbida e macabra), "Xipe Topec" (rápida e assassina) e "Lus Sepulcri" como as músicas mais marcantes. Em outras palavras,  "Profane Nexus" é um dos melhores álbuns lançados em 2017 e sem dúvida alguma, um dos melhores registros da Incantation. A arte de capa que está excelente e remete perfeitamente a ideia do album foi feita novamente pelo Eliran Kantor. Death metal profano e absoluto!

In February of this year 2018, I had the privilege of watching a gig in Apple Valley with big bands such as Phobia, Incantation and Exhumed plus two local bands (unfortunately I did not watch these two bands) and it was just killer! The cold ruled the place, but the blood in my veins warmed my body as the bands began to play. Incantation played one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life, where the fury, energy and head-banging allied themselves with the musical blasphemy the band performed, it was a lesson on how to play death metal. The set list brought together songs from several albums and that was great! In addition, John McEntee and Chuck Sherwood, are very good guys. Now that I've gone over my recent experience at the show, "Profane Nexus" is the new album released by Incantation in 2017 and this record is spectacular, which follows the style of "Dirges of Elyzuim" (another excellent album), Incantation continues to sound brutal , demonic, malignant and cavernous, without ever being  influenced by fashions of the moment or the music industry. "Profane Nexus" is a great album from beginning to end, but I highlight (difficult choice) "Muse", "Rites of the Locust", "Visceral Hexahedron", "Incorporeal Despair" (slow, morbid and macabre), "Xipe Topec" (fast and murderous) and "Lus Sepulcri" as the most outstanding songs. In other words, "Profane Nexus" is one of the best albums released in 2017 and undoubtedly one of the best records from Incantation. With cover art that is excellent and perfectly matches the idea of the album (made again by Eliran Kantor). Profane and absolute death metal!
