CEREBRAL ROT - ODIOUS DESCENT INTO DECAY

When I first heard Cerebral Rot in 2018 through their first demo EP, I really liked their sound and in 2019, they released Odious Descent Into Decay, their debut album. With a better production, since the album was released by 20 Buck Spin, Cerebral Rot has not lost its main characteristics which are a direct, primitive, visceral, rotten sound and the songs that stand out the most are "Odious Descent Into Decay" , "Reeking Septic Mass", "Cerebral Rot", "Putrefaction (Eternal Decay)", "Sardonic Repentance" and "Foul Stench Of Ruination", on which the other tracks not mentioned are good as well. Musically, the death metal made by Cerebral Rot is similar and has strong influences from Bolt Thrower and Benediction, while in the lyric part it is closer to Autopsy, Carcass and Exhumed, which will please those who enjoy death metal in general. The cover art that has a gooey, fetid and decaying aspect was a work done by Karina Monzon. In short, Odious Descent Into Decay is a very good album and Cerebral Rot is yet another great representative of this new wave of death metal. Com uma produção melhor, já que o álbum foi lançado pela 20 Buck Spin, o Cerebral Rot não perdeu as suas principais características que são um som direto, primitivo, visceral e podre, na qual se destacam "Odious Descent Into Decay", "Reeking Septic Mass", "Cerebral Rot", "Putrefaction (Eternal Decay)", "Sardonic Repentance" e "Foul Stench Of Ruination", sendo que as outras faixas não mencionadas sejam boas também. Musicalmente, o death metal feito pelo Cerebral Rot se assemelha e tem fortes influências de Bolt Thrower e Benediction, enquanto que na parte lírica está mais próximo do Autopsy, Carcass e Exhumed, o que vai agradar quem curte death metal de forma geral. A arte de capa que tem um aspecto gosmento, fétido e em decomposição foi um trabalho feito pela Karina Monzon. Em suma, Odious Descent Into Decay é um álbum muito bom e o Cerebral Rot é mais um grande representante dessa nova onda do death metal.
