DRILLER KILLER - REALITY BITES

O meu primeiro contato com "Reality Bites" foi através da revista Rock Brigade na parte destinada as notícias rápidas sobre bandas e o que estava escrito na página era relacionado a capa que foi censurada na Alemanha e que deixou os caras da Driller Killer putos com isso (infelizmente eu não tenho essa revista neste momento). Pois bem, "Reality Bites" completa vinte anos do seu lançamento neste ano de 2018 e é um álbum que continua atual, anti moda e matador para mim, já que sempre escuto e nada mudou desde a primeira vez (eu acho que "No Reason To Quit" pode resumir muito bem esta ideia). Assim como "Fuck The World", o álbum anterior, "Reality Bites" é um álbum agressivo e caótico com letras realistas e ácidas. Destaque para as faixas "God Forgives", "...The Phanatix", "Count Me Out", "Where The Sun Never Shines", "Mad Bad and Pissed", "Cashflow Zero", "Doomed From The Start" e "Fear Today Gun Tomorrow". No CD lançado pela Osmose Productions tem como faixa bônus um registro ao vivo (apenas o audio) gravado em algum lugar da Europa. Simplesmente uma pancadaria crustcore matadora! Driller Killer: Selle (bateria), Svend (baixo), Andy (guitarra) e Cliff (vocals).

My first contact with "Reality Bites" was through the Brazilian magazine called Rock Brigade in the part with news about bands and what was written was related to the cover that was censored in Germany and that left the guys of the Driller Killer pissed of (unfortunately I don't I have this magazine at the moment). Well, "Reality Bites" completes twenty years since its launching and is an album that remains current, anti trend and killer for me, since I always listen and nothing has changed since the first time I heard this (I think the lyrics to "No Reason To Quit" may well summarize this idea). Like "Fuck The World", the previous album, "Reality Bites" is an aggressive and chaotic album with realistic and acid lyrics. Highlight for the tracks "God Forgives", "... The Phanatix", "Count Me Out", "Where The Sun Never Shines", "Mad Bad and Pissed", "Cashflow Zero", "Doomed From The Start" and "Fear Today Gun Tomorrow". In the CD released by Osmose Productions has a bonus track a live record (audio only) recorded somewhere in Europe. Simply killer crustcore mayhem! Driller Killer: Selle (drums), Svend (bass), Andy (guitars) and Cliff (vocals).
