RATOS DE PORÃO - SÉCULO SINISTRO

Século Sinistro é o mais novo álbum dos Ratos de Porão. A banda não gravava algo inédito (músicas próprias) desde 2010, ano de lançamento do split EP com espanhóis da Looking For An Answer, que, diga-se de passagem, é um puta arregaço. E em 2014 surge esse novo álbum, sendo muito aguardado pelos admiradores da barulheira dos Ratos de Porão. E que álbum brutal! Século Sinistro segue à veia maldita iniciada em 1997 com o lançamento do álbum Carniceria Tropical. Digo isso no sentido dos sons serem extremamente mais brutais e caóticos, isso é fato! O álbum inicia com sons de bombas, tiros de armas de fogo, pessoas gritando e correndo, o que nos faz lembrar-se dos conflitos nas grandes capitais brasileiras no ano passado. Assim é "Conflito Violento", música que relata o que ocorreu nas ruas do Brasil durante os manifestos. "Neocanibalismo", como o próprio nome diz, a letra se trata de canibalismo humano e tem como participação especial no solo de guitarra Moyses Kolesne (Krisiun). "Grande Bosta" relata o modo de vida de um brasileiro de baixa renda, sendo o mesmo fanático por futebol, demais vícios e hábitos. "Sangue e Bunda" tem a participação de um porco nos "vocais". Isso mesmo! O porco se chama Atum e é o animal de estimação do João Gordo. Essa faixa fala sobre justiça com as próprias mãos e que o povo quer ver mesmo é sangue e bunda. A faixa título "Século Sinistro" é uma música na qual o Gordo "fala" sem parar, sendo uma faixa bem rápida musicalmente também, ou seja, hardcore. Letra bem forte, dando ideia que o pior está por vir, ou melhor, já está entre nós. "Jornada Para O Inferno" é uma das minhas faixas favoritas desse novo álbum. Composta por bons riffs de guitarra, essa canção relata a situação degradante das cadeias públicas brasileiras, algo como o próprio inferno na terra. "Prenúncio de Treta", música foda que fala sobre confusões e brigas de gangues. Mais outra faixa foda e também uma das minhas favoritas se chama "Stress Pós-Traumático". Essa música é sobre uma situação de um sequestro. Um deus está divido por duas orações, a da vítima implorando pela vida e a do ladrão/sequestrador temendo a prisão, a algema da polícia e também a morte. "Viciado Digital" foi a primeira música que eu escutei desse álbum e se trata da nova forma de vício entre as pessoas. "Boiada Pra Bandido" é uma música que fala sobre justiça e as leis brasileiras, na qual é feita por ladrões para favorecer ladrões. Em seguida os caras executam um cover da Anti-Cimex e a música escolhida dessa vez foi "Progeria of Power" e novamente com a participação no solo de guitarra por Moyses Kolesne. "Puta, Viagra e Corrupção" ironiza a vida de um deputado brasileiro. E pra fechar com chave de ouro, o último som desse álbum se chama "Pra Fazer Pobre Chorar", na qual mostra a realidade de famílias pobres desse país e que quando acontece alguma desgraça natural ou não, a situação se torna bem pior do que já era. A formação da banda está sólida, sendo a mesma formação desde 2003, então o entrosamento entre eles está impecável e isso é extremamente notável ao escutar esse álbum. Bom, Século Sinistro está foda pra caralho, o álbum está muito bom do início ao fim. O álbum foi produzido por João Gordo e Ratos de Porão. A pré-produção ficou por conta de Jean Dolabella (ex-Diesel, ex-Sepultura). A capa foi feita por Ricardo Tatoo. Ratos de Porão é: Gordo (vocals), Jão (guitarra), Boka (bateria) e Juninho (baixo).

Século Sinistro is the newest album from Ratos de Porão. The band had not recorded anything new (own music) since 2010, when they releases a split EP with the Spanish band Looking For An Answer, which, by the way, is very good. In 2014 this new album emerged, being highly anticipated by fans of the noisiness of Ratos de Porão. Brutal album! Século Sinistro follows the destructive path started in 1997 when Carniceria Tropical was released. I say this because the songs are extremely brutal and chaotic and that is a fact! The album begins with the sounds of bombs, gunshots fired, people screaming and running, which reminds us of the conflicts in major Brazilian capitals in the past year. "Conflito Violento" is a song that relates to what happened in the streets of Brazil during the manifestos. The lyrics of (the song) "Neocanibalismo", as the name implies, talk about (deal with) human cannibalism and has a special guest in the guitar solo Moyses Kolesne (Krisiun). "Grande Bosta" recounts the way of life of a poor Brazilian and how these people are fanatical about soccer and have other addictions and habits. A pig (or a pig's voice) is used as one of the vocals in "Sangue e Bunda". That's right! The pig is called Atum and is the pet of João Gordo. This track talks about taking justice into their own hands and that people want to see blood and even ass. The title track "Século Sinistro" is a song in which Gordo "talks" nonstop, it is also very fast musically, ie, a hardcore song. This lyric is quite shocking, giving the idea that the worst is to come, or rather is already among us. "Jornada Para O Inferno" is one of my favorite tracks on that album. Comprised of good guitar riffs, this song tells the degrading situation of Brazilian public prisons, something like hell on earth. "Prenúnicio de Treta" is a great song that talks about confusion and gang fights. Another great track and one of my favorites is called "Stress Pós-Traumático". This song is about a kidnapping. A god is divided by two prayers, the victim begging for life and the thief/kidnapper fearing the prison, being handcuffed by the police and also death. "Viciado Digital" was the first song I listened to on this album and the lyrics talk about the new form of addiction among people (the internet). "Boiada Pra Bandido" this track talks about taking justice into their own hands and about the laws of Brazil, which are made by thieves to help thieves. Then the guys perform a cover song of Anti-Cimex and the song chosen this time was "Progeria of Power" and again with participation in the guitar solo by Moyses Kolesne. "Puta, Viagra e Corrupção" quips the life of a Brazilian politician. And to close with a flourish, the last sound of this album is called "Pra Fazer Pobre Chorar" which depicts the reality of poor families in this country (Brazil) in which when natural disaster happens, the situation becomes much worse than it already was. The band is great, with the same lineup since 2003. The interplay between them is flawless and it is extremely noticeable when listening to this album. Well, Século Sinistro is an excellent album from start to finish. The album was produced by João Gordo and Ratos de Porão. Pre-production was done by Jean Dolabella (ex-Diesel, ex-Sepultura).
