Sim, somente eu. Teve uma época em que eu chamei um amigo pra cantar, mas acabou não dando muito certo. Mas o que gravamos ficou ótimo e em breve estarei disponibilizando no bandcamp. (Acho que as gravações são do final de 2010). No geral eu componho baseado em coisas que eu assisto, como jornais (não é porque eu assisto, que eu acredito!) e filmes. As vezes as letras são baseadas em livros e por aí vai. Pra gravar as guitarras eu uso uma BC Rich Warlock e o baixo eu uso um Jackson que me acompanha desde quando eu comecei a tocar! (Há 12 anos mais ou menos). Bateria é programada, mas eu tento deixar o mais natural possível!!!
2 - Pelo fato de você ser o responsável por tudo, já rolou alguma apresentação ao vivo?
Cara, infelizmente não! Já tive planos pra fazer isso mas acabou que não deu certo. Na real a grande dificuldade de tudo isso é ter que lhe dar com pessoas...
3 - Sobre o nome, qual a origem?
Comecei o projeto como brincadeira, com o tempo fui levando mais a sério e hoje em dia só trato de questões sérias. Críticas sociais, libertação animal, temas baseados no comportamento do ser humano e por aí vai... Nada filosófico!
4 - A Agamenon Project já tem materiais lançados. Como foram lançados? E tem algo novo em mente?
Cara, posso dizer que eu tenho MUITO material lançado. Já pensei em parar várias vezes, mas hoje em dia não vejo um porque. Lanço em cópias limitadas visando somente os amigos. E para as pessoas que quiserem conhecer o som, recomendo visitar o bandcamp, que não tem tudo, mas tem bastante coisa la. A discografia pode ser vista no "about" da fan page do "projeto" no Facebook. (É só procurar por Agamenon Project, muito simples!).
5 - Com relação a Killer (vídeo clip/barulho), posso te considerar vegan?
Não sou Vegan (sou vegetariano há aproximadamente 10 anos!) e nunca fui, mas eu tenho um sentimento a parte por essa questão. Considero importante tal comportamento quanto a isso, mas eu mesmo nunca tive uma veia forte pra levantar a bandeira. Acho fundamental as pessoas terem um posicionamento e conhecimento sobre o que acontece acerca da indústria quanto aos animais e por aí vai. Infelizmente, aqui no Brasil muitas pessoas levantam a bandeira por moda e não por um sentimento verdadeiro. E isso é possível observar tanto na internet quanto no dia a dia.
6 - Palavras finais: xingue, agradeça, etc...
Agradeço demais pela oportunidade! Confesso que sinto um "boicote" a parte vindo de outras galeras, blogs e sites... Mas na real é como eu costumo dizer, "SOU EU CONTRA TODOS!". Carrego o DIY comigo e as vezes isso pode ser mal interpretado por alguns. Não é fácil ter um projeto como esse, em que eu gravo, faço a mixagem, masterização e as artes de 99% das coisas que eu lanço. Faço porque gosto e nunca por moda! 1 - The Agamemnon Project is composed only of you. How is the composition process? What equipment do you use?
Yes, just me. There was a time that I called a friend to sing, but was not working too well. But what we recorded was great and will soon be available on bandcamp. (I think the recordings are from the end of 2010). Overall I compose based on things that I watch, like TV news (not because I watch, I believe!) and movies. Sometimes the lyrics are based on books and so on. To record the guitars I use a BC Rich Warlock and to record the bass I use a Jackson accompanying me since I started playing! (about 12 years). The drums is programmed, but I try to make it as natural as possible!!!
2 - You are responsible for everything. The Agamemnon Project has played live?
Man, unfortunately not! I have had plans to do this but it just did not work. In reality, most difficult of all is having to live with people.
3 - About the name, what is the origin?
I started the project as a joke, with time I was taking it more seriously and today I only deal with serious issues. Social criticism, animal liberation, themes based on human behavior and so on... Nothing philosophical!
4 - The Agamemnon Project has already released materials. How were released? And has something new in mind?
Man, I can say that I have VERY material released. I have thought about quitting several times but today I don't see a reason for it. I just I record my material only in limited copies for friends. And for people who want to know the sound, I recommend visiting the bandcamp because this site has a lot of noise but not all. The discography can be seen in the "about" the fan page "project" on Facebook. (Just search for Agamemnon Project, very simple!).
5 - About Killer (video clip/noise), I can consider vegan?
I'm not vegan (I'm vegetarian for about 10 years!) and I have never been vegan but I have a feeling for that cause. I consider important such behavior but I myself never had a vein strong to raise the flag. I think it's important for people to have a position and knowledge about what happens in the industry in relation to animals and so on. Unfortunately, here in Brazil many people raise the flag for fashion and not for the real feeling. And it is possible to observe both on the internet and as in everyday life.
6 - Final words: bad words, good words, etc...
Thank you for the opportunity! I confess that I feel a "boycott" coming from others people, blogs and websites... But in real it's like I always say, "I AM AGAINST ALL." I carry with me the DIY and sometimes that can be misconstrued by some. It is not easy to have a project like this, where I record, do the mixing, and mastering the arts of 99% of the things that I release. I do it because I like and never for fashion! Keep in grind and fuck off all porngrind/goreporn.
