CAVALERA CONSPIRACY - PANDEMONIUM

Antes desse álbum ser lançado, Max Cavalera disse que as músicas desse novo trabalho soariam grindcore e que isso seria a parada mais extrema que ele faria até então na sua carreira. Ele disse também que Iggor Cavalera tocaria muito rápido como nos antigos álbuns da Sepultura. A expectativa tomou conta de todos que aguardavam ansiosamente por esse novo registro. Pois bem, "Pandemonium" não tem absolutamente nada de grindcore. É claro que tem algumas músicas rápidas ao estilo thrash metal misturado com hardcore, mas basicamente o groove está inserido em todo o enredo do álbum, em outras palavras, "Pandemonium" é bem semelhante musicalmente aos dois álbuns anteriores. Max também utiliza algum experimentalismo e efeitos em sua voz e isso ficou legal. Uma das faixas bônus desse novo álbum se chama "Porra" e que porra! Ela cita os "heróis" brasileiros do futebol... A arte de capa foi feita por Stephan Doitschnoff e sei lá... está horrível! A única coisa interessante nessa arte é que está desenhada a bandeira do estado de São Paulo pegando fogo. Bem, apesar das críticas eu gostei desse novo álbum, mas eu esperava muito mais. 

Before this album was released, Max Cavalera said that the songs of this new work would sound grindcore and this would be the most extreme record that he would do in his artistic career. He also said his brother Iggor Cavalera would play very fast drums as in the old albums of Sepultura. The expectation came over all waiting anxiously for this new record. Well, "Pandemonium" has absolutely nothing related to grindcore. Of course it has some fast songs like thrash metal mixed with hardcore but basically the groove is inserted throughout the album's plot, in other words, "Pandemonium" is musically very similar to the previous two albums. Max also uses some experimentalism and effects on your voice and it's pretty cool. One of the bonus tracks from the new album is called "Porra" and that shit! This song cites the Brazilian soccer "heroes"...  The cover art was done by Stephan Doitschinoff and... I don't know... this art is horrible! The interesting thing is that this drawing shows the flag of the state of São Paulo (Brazilian state) in flames. Well, despite the criticism I liked this album but I expected more.
