ALARIC - END OF MIRRORS

Ontem eu escrevi sobre o split EP da Abstracter e hoje é a vez da Alaric, outra excelente banda de Oakland. Antes de ter a oportunidade de escutar o álbum completo, a banda liberou para audição "Angel", "Mirror" e "Adore" e eu escutei várias vezes seguidas essas faixas, pois elas soavam negras, obscuras e solitude e até mesmo com um ar de esperança, ou seja, a carga sombria que gira em torno dessas faixas é como um vórtex (isso é um elogio). E basicamente nisso que se resume "End of Mirrors", álbum lançado pela Alaric em 2016, pois a natureza das músicas são como correntes de água vindas de marés conflitantes (a bateria, o baixo, a guitarra e a voz são os causadores desse fenômeno). "End of Mirrors" é um álbum excelente do início ao fim e pra mim é o melhor registro lançado pela Alaric até o momento, na qual vai agradar bastante o público que admira Killing Joke, Joy Division, death rock, post punk e música boa em geral. Álbum lindo!

Yesterday I wrote about Abstracter's split EP and today it's time to talk about Alaric, another great band from Oakland. Before they made the full album available, the band released "Angel", "Mirror" and "Adore" and I listened to these songs several times because they sounded dark, but with an air of hope, for example, the dark burden that revolves around these tracks is like a vortex (this is a compliment). Basically that is what sums up "End of Mirrors", album released by Alaric in 2016, because the nature of the songs is like water currents coming from conflicting tides (the drums, bass, guitars and voices are the cause of this phenomenon). "End of Mirrors" is an excellent album from beginning to end and for me it is the best record ever released by Alaric, which will please the audiences that admire Killing Joke, Joy Division, death rock, post punk and good music in general. Beautiful album!
