ALTARAGE - NIHL

Véy, esses caras foram uma das revelações de 2015 e "Nihl" veio para confirmar isso. Este álbum é pesado e sombrio pra caralho, sendo essas as características mais marcantes desta banda. Seguindo essa lógica, o som produzido pelas guitarras é semelhante ao zumbido de abelhas furiosas durante um ataque, enquanto a bateria e o baixo conduzem o ouvinte ao plano mais horripilante possível.  Óbvio que eu escutei algumas boas influências de bandas como, o velho Morbid Angel e sobretudo Immolation, embora a Altarage seja uma banda única. Destaque para as faixas "Womborous", "Graehence", "Vortex Pyramid" e "Altars". "Nihl" é um excelente álbum e altamente viciante aos ouvidos, pois tenho escutado várias vezes seguidas nestes últimos meses. Sem dúvida um dos melhores registros de 2016. Foda! 


Man, these guys were one of the revelations of 2015 and "Nihl" is here to confirm it. This album is heavy and dark as hell and these are the most striking features of this band. Following this logic, the sound produced by the guitar is similar to the buzz of angry bees during an attack while the drums and bass lead the listener to the most terrifying place that may exist. Obviously I heard some good influences of bands like the old Morbid Angel and Immolation especially, although Altarage is a band with their own ideas. Especially the tracks "Womborous", "Graehence", "Vortex Pyramid" and "Altars". "Nihl" is an excellent album and it is highly addictive, because I have heard again and again in recent months. Undoubtedly one of the best records of 2016. Badass!
