A Subterror é uma banda nova de Crustcore da cidade de Brasília - Distrito Federal e que até o presente momento já lançaram um mini CD e um split 7". Com o seu barulho bem pesado e agressivo, a Subterror vem mostrando a sua raiva e gana. E neste bate papo vamos saber um pouco mais sobre eles.
1 - A Kurgan se tornou a Subterror?
Primeiramente, obrigado pela oportunidade Mixel. O Kurgan era um projeto à parte do Luan e do Samuel (baixo/vocal e batera do Subterror, respectivamente), uma outra banda deles e nunca teve nenhum vínculo com o Subterror.
2 - Em 2011 vocês gravaram o mini CD "Desespero". Como foi a repercussão desse lançamento?
O mini CD "Desespero" foi gravado no final de 2010, mas o material mesmo só saiu no primeiro semestre de 2011. Foi muito positiva a repercussão dele, por meio da circulação física e virtual desse material apareceram várias oportunidades para a banda, conhecemos novas pessoas e tocamos em lugares bem bacanas.
3 - E neste ano vocês gravaram um split com os húngaros da Do You Think I Care?. Como foi realizada essa parceria?
A gente entrou em contato com os caras ano passado, a gente tinha gostado do som do pessoal e após esse contato, foi surgindo uma amizade e apareceu a idéia de lançar esse split (Subterror/ Do You Think I Care? 7"). Eles sempre pareceram muito entusiasmados e acreditaram nessa idéia tanto quanto a gente aqui. Acabou acontecendo.
4 - Agora a Subterror é um power trio e o Luan está berrando e tocando baixo, algo já feito na Kurgan. Foi tranqüilo o Luan voltar a fazer essa função? E qual o motivo da saída do Berns?
Foi tranquila sim. Fizemos poucos ensaios e o Luan pegou as músicas rapidamente, depois foi só colocar o vocal. Tudo se resolveu em poucos ensaios. O Berns saiu da banda por motivos pessoais, e tudo continua numa boa.
5 - A Subterror já tocou em estados como Distrito Federal, Goiás, São Paulo e Paraná. Está rolando convites pra tocar em outros estados?
Convites às vezes rolam, mas não se concretizam. Sempre ficam pelo caminho por algum empecilho. A gente agora se prepara para a próxima gravação e para shows que vão rolar no primeiro semestre do ano que vem.
6 - Em 2013 a Subterror vai lançar um split com a Defy. Já tem barulhos prontos ou ainda estão sendo feitos?
Nós temos algumas músicas novas. Essas que vão para o split com nossos amigos da Defy são músicas que a gente já toca há um tempo.

The Subterror is a new Crustcore band from Brasília - Distrito Federal and to date have released a mini CD and a split 7". With its noise heavy and aggressive sound, the Subterror been showing their anger and rage. And this chat we will know a little more about them.
1 - The Kurgan became the Subterror?
First, thanks for the opportunity Mixel. The Kurgan was a project from Luan and Samuel (bass/vocals and drums of Subterror, respectively), another band of them and never had any link with the Subterror.
2 - In 2011 the band recorded a mini CD "Desespero". How was the repercussion of this release?
The mini CD "Desespero" was recorded in late 2010 but was only released in the first half of 2011. The repercussion of this material has been very positive, both through physical and virtual and it appeared several opportunities for the band and we met new people and we played really cool places.
3 - And this year the Subterror recorded a split with the hungarian band called Do You Think I Care?. How was held this partnership?
We got in touch with the guys last year and we like their sound and with all this talk came a friendship with them and with that came the idea to launch this split (Subterror/Do You Think I Care? 7"). They were very enthusiastic and believed in this idea and so do we. And that ended up happening.
4 - Now Subterror is a power trio and Luan is screaming and playing bass, something already done in Kurgan band. It was easy pro Luan redo this function? Why Berns left the band?
It was easy. We did a few trials and Luan quickly picked the songs and then just put the vocals. Everything was resolved in a few trials. Berns left the band for personal reasons and everything goes just fine.
5 - The Subterror has played in brazilian states as Distrito Federal, Goiás, São Paulo and Paraná. The band is receiving invitations to play in other brazilian states?
Sometimes appear invitations to play but not realized. There's always some reason. Now we are preparing for the next recording and for shows that will take place in the first half of next year.
6 - In 2013 the Subterror will release a split with the Defy. The band has songs ready for it or are still being made?
We have some new songs. The noises that are split with our friends in the Defy are songs we've played in a while.
