Mystifier is one of the classic Brazilian black/death metal bands, which belongs to the same old school as Sarcófago, Vulcano, Sepultura and Aamonhammer. In 2019, Mystifier presents its worshipers and admirers with their new album Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia, the fifth in the band's career and released by Season of Mist. Composed of ten tracks, Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia stands out for both album production and Mystifier's strengthening, in which my favorite tracks are "Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia", "Weighing Heart Ceremony", "Witching Lycanthropic Moon", "Akhenaton (Son Mighty Sun)", "Demoler Las Torres Del Cielo (En Nombre Del Diablo)", "(Introcucione D'la Melodia Mortuoria) Thanatopraxy" (influenced by Black Sabbath) and "Al Nakba (666 Days of War)". The magnificent cover art was made by Paolo Girardi. In short, Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia is simply one of the best metal albums of 2019 and is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Beherit, Blasphemy, Rotting Christ and Sarcófago. Badass! Mystifier: Beelzeebubth (guitar and backin' vocals), Sorcerer Do'Urden (vocals, bass and keyboard) and WarMonger (percussion and drums).

A Mystifier é uma das clássicas bandas de black/death metal brasileira, na qual pertecem a mesma antiga escola da Sarcófago, Vulcano, Sepultura e Aamonhammer. Em 2019, a Mystifier presenteia aos seus adoradores e admiradores o seu novo álbum Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia, o quinto na carreira da banda e que foi lançado pela Season of Mist. Em suma, Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dysnasteia é simplesmente um dos melhores álbuns de metal de 2019 e é super recomendado para quem curte Beherit, Blasphemy, Rotting Christ e Sarcófago. Fodido! BRUJERIA - AMARICON CZAR [EP]

Capitalism versus Bolshevism: The Cold War is back! Oh yes, the American Berlin Wall is also being built. Thus, the paranoia, delirium, hatred and boyfriend of the Brazilian far-right (and even world) are very well represented in this cover of Brujeria's new EP. Amaricon Czar was released in 2019 and contains only two tracks: "Amaricon Czar" which has humorously acid lyrics about the Russians' involvement with Donald Trump in the last US election and "Lord Nazi Ruso" that addresses the history of youtuber and Russian Nazi named Aleksei Makeev who lived in Cancun, Mexico and who in 2017 became world famous by being lynched by a group of angry local citizens during which he stabbed and killed one of the attackers. He was therefore sentenced to thirty-seven years in prison for the murder of a Mexican citizen. Musically, both tracks resemble the album Pocho Aztlan released in 2016. Anyway, good! 

Capitalismo versus Bolchevismo: A Guerra Fria está de volta! Ah sim, o Muro de Berlim americano também está sendo construído. Dessa forma, a paranóia, o delírio, o ódio e o namorado da extrema-direita brasileira (e até mesmo mundial) estão muito bem representado nesta capa do novo EP da Brujeria. Amaricon Czar foi lançado em 2019 e contém apenas duas faixas: "Amaricon Czar" que tem uma letra humoristicamente ácida em relação ao envolvimento dos russos com Donald Trump na última eleição estadunidense e "Lord Nazi Ruso" que aborda a história do youtuber e nazista russo chamado Aleksei Makeev que vivia em Cancún no México e que em 2017 tornou-se famoso mundialmente ao ser linchado por um grupo de cidadãos locais raivosos durante os quais ele esfaqueou e matou um dos atacantes. Ele foi, portanto, condenado a trinta e sete anos de prisão pelo assassinato de um cidadão mexicano. Musicalmente, ambas as faixas se assemelham ao álbum Pocho Aztlan de 2016. Enfim, massa!

BODY VOID - YOU WILL KNOW THE FEAR YOU FORCED UPON US

You Will Know The Fear You Forced Upon Us is Body Void's third record and was released in 2019. The band's musicality has remained the same since Ruins, ie, very heavy sludgecore/doom metal, but this record is more like I Live Inside A Burning House, because the length of the tracks is much longer compared to the first album. Regardless, You Will Know The Fear You Forced Upon Us is a great record, I highlight "Fascist Cancer" (this damn cancer is spreading among political power holders and people around the world). More current, impossible. Heavy!

You Will Know The Fear You Forced Upon Us é o terceiro registro da Body Void e foi lançado em 2019. A musicalidade segue a mesma desde Ruins, ou seja, sludgecore/doom metal muito pesado, porém se assemelha mais ao I Live Inside A Burning House, já que o tempo de duração das faixas são bem mais longas em comparação ao primeiro álbum. Independente disso, You Will Know The Fear You Forced Upon é um registro foda, na qual destaco "Fascist Cancer" (esse maldito câncer está se espalhando entre os dentedores do poder político e pessoas mundo a fora). Mais atual, impossível. Pesado!

This Morne live record was recorded in Brooklyn - New York and consists of five tracks that are mostly from the To The Night Unknown album, except for "Twilight Burns" from the first album Untold Wait. The album title is in Roman numerals and means January 26, 2019. A good record.

Esse registro ao vivo da Morne foi gravado no Brooklyn em Nova York e é composto por cinco faixas que em sua maioria são do álbum To The Night Unknown, com exceção de "Twilight Burns" do primeiro álbum Untold Wait. O título do álbum está em algarismo romano e significa 26 de janeiro de 2019. Um bom registro.

After the excellent demo 34°23"41'N 132°27"17'E, released in 2017, Carnage is back with Duality, its 2019 EP. Consisting of only two tracks, Duality was released by Profane Existence in vinyl and follows the same precepts as the first demo and that's great! Undoubtedly, Carnage is one of the best Portuguese bands of our time and this EP despite its short duration is proof of that. Depois da excelente demo 34°23"41'N 132°27"17'E, lançada em 2017, a Carnage está de volta com Duality, o seu EP de 2019. Composto por apenas duas faixas, Duality foi lançado pela Profane Existence em formato vinil e segue com o mesmo preceito da primeira demo e isso é ótimo! Sem dúvidas, a Carnage é uma das bandas portuguesas mais fodas da atualidade e esse EP, apesar de ser curto, é uma prova disso. Capa por Stiv. Muito bom!

ROTTING CHRIST - THE HERETICS

The Heretics is Rotting Christ's 13th album and was released in 2019. First, the cover art that was made by Maximos Manolis already catches the eye and automatically notes the connection to the album title. Musically, the Tolis brothers (Sakis and Themis) have made The Heretics follow a more modern line by assimilating a bit with Rituals, the 2016 album, where it pleases those who enjoy Soulfly (the track "Heaven and Hell and Fire" is a good example) and Behemoth, for example. Another interesting point of The Heretics is that the lyrics were written in English, Russian (the track "Ветры злые" - "Vetry zlye"), Latin (the track "Dies Irae"), Greek (the track "Πιστεύω" - "I Believe") and Arabian (the track "The Voice of the Universe"), as well as quotes from authors such as Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Mark Twain, Friedrich Nietzsche, John Muir, Thomas Paine, William Shakespeare, Nikolaos Kazantzakis ("Πιστεύω" - "I Believe" was based on one of his poems), Voltaire and Edgar Allan Poe ("The Raven" was based on on his poem of the same name). Well, The Heretics is a cool album.

The Heretics é o décimo terceiro álbum da Rotting Christ e foi lançado em 2019. De cara, a capa que foi feita por Maximos Manolis já chama a atenção e automaticamente nota-se a conexão com o título do álbum. Musicalmente, os irmãos Tolis (Sakis e Themis) fizeram The Heretics seguir uma linha mais moderna assimilando um pouco com Rituals, o álbum de 2016, na qual poderá agradar quem curte Soulfly (a faixa "Heaven and Hell and Fire" é um bom exemplo) e Behemoth, por exemplo. This split brings together two very good bands from Malmö. The first is Anhedoni who plays very aggressive crustcore/hardcore/punk on all five tracks, highlighting "Våld" which is a Remiso cover sung in Swedish (in this case it's "Violência", Remiso's first demo song). Remiso mixes hardcore/punk with metal and features five tracks, highligthing "Antimilitar", "Burn Your Flag" (Crutches cover) and "Försupen Förlorad" (Anhedoni cover), in which the last two tracks mentioned are sung in Portuguese. So cool!

Esse split reúne duas bandas muito massa de Malmö. A primeira é a Anhedoni que toca crustcore/hardcore/punk bem agressivo nas cinco faixas, destacando o "Våld" que é um cover da Remiso cantado em sueco (neste caso se trata de "Violência", canção primeira demo da Remiso). A Remiso que faz um mistura de hardcore/punk com metal se apresenta também com cinco faixas, destacando "Antimilitar", "Burn Your Flag" (cover da Crutches) e "Försupen Förlorad" (cover da Anhedoni), sendo as duas últimas faixas citadas são cantadas em português. Da hora demais!

Open The Coffin is the project created by Cláudio Slayer (Expose Your Hate and Son of a Witch). He is exclusively dedicated to the old school death metal and the title of this EP makes it very clear. The four tracks that make up Only Death Prevails can be characterized as hard bones inside a coffin, where a corpse has finished its decomposition. Good! Open The Coffin: Cláudio Slayer (vocals, guitars and bass) e César Cyco (drums). 

Open The Coffin é o projeto criado por Cláudio Slayer (Expose Your Hate e Son of a Witch), onde ele se dedica exclusivamente ao antigo death metal e o título desse EP deixa isso muito claro. As quatro faixas que compõem Only Death Prevails podem se caracterizadas como ossos duros dentro de um  caixão, onde um cadáver finalizou a sua decomposição. Podreira! Open The Coffin: Cláudio Slayer (vocal, guitarra e baixo) e César Cyco (bateria).
