"Gensho" significa 'fenômeno' e pode-se dizer que um fenômeno japonês este álbum. Vamos direto ao ponto então. A Boris é uma que grava e toca em vários estilos musicais e neste álbum as músicas soam mais drone. Lembrando que todas as faixas são regravações, exceto "Sometimes" cover da My Blood Valentines. Merzbow é o cara que tem o poder dos barulhos, em outra palavras, o cara provoca o caos. "Gensho" é um álbum que pode agradar muitos pessoas e desagradar outras (eu digo isso em relação ao Merzbow e este não é o meu caso). Em suma, duas bandas muito diferentes realizando a arte do barulho.

"Gensho" means 'phenomenon' and it can be said that a Japanese phenomenon this album. Let's get right to the point then. Boris is one that records and plays in various musical styles and in this album the songs sound more drone. Remembering that all tracks are re-recordings, except "Sometimes" My Blood Valentines cover song. Merzbow is the guy who has the power of the noises, in other words, the guy causes chaos. "Gensho" is an album that can please many people and displease others (I say this in relation to Merzbow and this is not my case). In short, two very different bands performing the art of noise.

Ontem eu postei a compilação/tributo ao Bathory e hoje é a vez da Dead Kennedys. "Fresh Fruits For Rotting Vegetables" é o álbum de estréia da Dead Kennedys e é um registro clássico dentro do mundo hardcore/punk, onde também foi influência de diversas bandas de metal. Grandes bandas gravaram e tocaram as músicas deste álbum, porém a maioria das bandas presente nesta compilação são desconhecidas por mim. Enfim, escute essa obra-prima tocada por outras bandas.


Yesterday I posted the compilation/tribute to Bathory and today it is American band Dead Kennedys. "Fresh Fruits For Rotting Vegetables" is the debut album by Dead Kennedys and is a classic record within the hardcore/punk world scene, where it was also influence for several metal bands. Great bands recorded and played the songs of this album, however most bands present in this compilation are unknown to me. Anyway, listen to this masterpiece played by other bands.

Disease é uma banda que está dando continuidade ao que Disclose fez no passado. Barulho, caos e destruição são as características desse trio macedônio. "We Lose Everything" foi lançado em 2016 e contém nove faixas, incluindo covers de bandas como, Dispose e Disclose. Embora uma faixa se chama "Alcoholocaust", esse som não é um cover da Driller Killer. Barulheira!


Disease is a band that is continuing what Disclose has done in the past. Noise, chaos and destruction are the characteristics of this Macedonian trio. "We Lose Everything" was released in 2016 and contains nine tracks, including cover songs from bands such as Dispose and Disclose. Although a song is called "Alcoholocaust", this track is not a Driller Killer cover song. Noisy as fuck!

Em 2016, a CVLT Nation lançou esse tributo ao Bathory. Um álbum clássico que influenciou milhares de pessoas ao redor do mundo, na qual o bode é a marca registrada dessa obra-prima. A única banda que eu tenho conhecimento nesta compilação é a Plagues (excelente banda), mas as outras bandas gravaram boas versões das músicas (claro, uma boa oportunidade para conhecer bandas novas). Da hora!


In 2016 CVLT Nation launched this tribute to Bathory. A classic album that has influenced thousands of people around the world, in which the goat is the trademark of this masterpiece. The only band that I have knowledge in this compilation is Plagues (excellent band), but the other bands recorded good versions of the songs (of course, a good opportunity to listen to new bands). So cool!

Vengeance of Karma é outra banda que eu conheci em 2016 e achei a banda legal. Musicalmente, os caras tocam hardcore/punk com melodias e com influências d-beat. Em certos momentos você poderá perceber influências de bandas como, Wolfbrigade e Tragedy na música feita pela Vengeance of Karma. "Ur Askan" foi lançado em 2016 e contém nove faixas.


Vengeance of Karma is another band I first heard in 2016 and the band makes a cool sound. Musically the guys play hardcore/punk with melodies and d-beat influences. At certain times you may notice influences from bands like, Wolfbrigade and Tragedy in the music made by the Vengeance of Karma. "Ur Askan" was released in 2016 and contains nine tracks.

Ginnungagap é uma banda tcheca nascida em 1999 e em 2016 eles lançaram o seu primeiro álbum pela Phobia Records. Eu não tenho conhecimento sobre a história da banda, mas "Nejsi Vítěz" é um puta álbum, onde as dezesseis faixas são bem furiosas e cheias de energia, sendo que um som é uma cover da banda sueca Loud Pipes. Claro, essa capa ficou foda demais! Bom!


Ginnungagap is a Czech band born in 1999 and in 2016 they released their first album by Phobia Records. I don't know about the band's history, but "Nejsi Vítěz" is a good album, where the sixteen tracks are very furious and full of energy and one of these tracks being a cover song by Swedish band Loud Pipes. Of course, this cover art is sensational! Good!

Sendo um banda nova, a Malcontent faz um som agressivo e direto, deixando o ouvinte com vontade de ouvir mais uma vez. A capa simplesmente é uma agressão social. Da hora!

Malcontent is a band formed by band members such as Dissekerad, Makabert Fynd, Avskum, Kakafoni, The Nature and Hellkontroll and this EP was launched in 2016. Being a new band, Malcontent makes an aggressive and straight to the point sound, leaving the listener wanting to listen once more. Cover art is simply social aggression. SVAVELDIOXID - ÄNDLÖS MARDRÖM

Svaveldioxid é mais outra excelente e barulhenta banda nascida na Suécia e eu imagino que o nome da banda possa ter sido inspirado pela Anti Cimex ("Svaveldioxid" é a primeira faixa do clássico EP "Anarkist Attack" lançado em 1982). Claro, Anti Cimex também é uma grande influência no barulho feito pelos caras, além de 3 Way Cum, Disfear, Warvictims, Operation, Anger Burning, Bombanfall, Dischange e No Security. "Ändlös Mardröm" foi lançado em 2016 e contém oito faixas barulhentas e caóticas com destaque para "Brända Skuggor", "Paralyserad" e "Nukleär Vinter" (essas duas faixas resgatam o velho barulho da Disfear), "Falsk Ritual" e "Fred På Jorden". O dióxido de enxofre é prejudicial à nossa saúde enquanto gás livre no ambiente, mas escutar o barulho feito pela Svaveldioxid é uma satisfação, pois é muito bom!  

Svaveldioxid is another excellent and boisterous Swedish-born band and I imagine the band's name may have been inspired by Anti Cimex ("Svaveldioxid" is the first track from the classic EP "Anarkist Attack" released in 1982). Of course, Anti Cimex is also a big influence on the noise made by the guys, besides other bands like 3 Way Cum, Disfear, Warvictims, Operation, Anger Burning, Bombanfall, Dischange and No Security. "Ändlös Mardröm" was released in 2016 and contains eight noisy and chaotic tracks, where I highlight the following songs "Brända Skuggor", "Paralyserad" and "Nukleär Vinter" (these two tracks rescue the old noise of Disfear), "Falsk Ritual" and "Fred På Jorden". Sulfur dioxide is harmful to our health as free gas in the environment, but listening to the noise made by Svaveldioxid is a satisfaction because the band is very good!

GADGET - THE GREAT DESTROYER

"The Great Destroyer" é o álbum lançado pela Gadget em 2016 e está excelente. Neste terceiro álbum todas as faixas são matadoras mas eu devo destacar "Enemies of Reason", "Choice of a Lost Generation", "Violent Hours (For a Veiled Awakening)" (com a participação do Barney Greenway da Napalm Death), "The 02666 Heritage", "The Great Destroyer", "Down and Out" (fodida pra caralho), "Collapse", "The Lack of Humanity" e "I Don't Need You/Dead and Gone" como as faixas mais marcantes para mim. Também é de suma importância destacar a gravação, mixagem e masterização deste álbum, pois está altamente brutal, sendo que o próprio William Blackmon foi o responsável. Aliás, todos os membros da banda se destacam em todas as faixas. Porra, mais do que justo dizer que Gadget se tornou o grande destruidor da música depois do lançamento desse álbum. Simplesmente magnífico!

"The Great Destroyer" is the album released by Gadget in 2016 and this is excellent. In this third album all tracks are killer but I must highlight "Enemies of Reason", "Choice of a Lost Generation", "Violent Hours (For a Veiled Awakening)" (featuring Barney Greenway of Napalm Death), "The 02666 Heritage", "The Great Destroyer", "Down and Out" (fucking great), "Collapse", "The Lack of Humanity" and "I Don't Need You/Dead and Gone". It is also of great importance to highlight the recording, mixing and mastering of this album, as it is highly brutal, and William Blackmon himself was responsible. In fact, all the members of the band stand out in all the tracks. Damn, more than fair to say that Gadget became the great destroyer of the music after the release of this album. Simply magnificent!

DARKTHRONE - ARCTIC THUNDER

Sempre existe uma grande expectativa quando a Darkthrone vai lançar um álbum novo e isso gera discussões entre os admiradores da banda e tal e com "Arctic Thunder" isso não foi diferente. A primeira faixa que eu escutei foi "Tundra Leech", na qual deu pra sentir uma influência do metal brasileiro neste música (neste caso são Sarcófago e Sepultura). Outras faixas que eu destaco são "Burial Bliss", "Boreal Fiends", "Inbred Vermin" e "Deep Lake Trespass". As músicas que compõem "Arctic Thunder" tem as mesma influências dos últimos registros, ou seja, o antigo black metal tocado pela Celtic Frost, metal punk e o heavy metal cru (apesar de Fenriz está usando uma camisa da Napalm Death na contra capa, o álbum não tem nenhuma influência grindcore). Sendo assim, "Arctic Thunder" é melhor que "The Underground Resistance". O título do álbum foi inspirado em uma extinta banda norueguesa chamada Arctic Thunder e eles tocavam heavy/thrash metal. Você pode comparar todos os álbuns e fases da Darkthrone e escolher quais são os seus registros favoritos, mas negar a essência e o poder deste álbum é uma tremenda estupidez. Enfim, "Arctic Thunder" é um álbum muito bom!


There is always a great expectation when Darkthrone is going to release a new album and this generates discussions between the fans of the band and such and "Arctic Thunder" it was no different. The first track I heard was "Tundra Leech", in which you could feel an influence of the Brazilian metal in this song (in this case they are Sarcófago and Sepultura). Other tracks that I highlight are "Burial Bliss", "Boreal Fiends", "Inbred Vermin" and "Deep Lake Trespass". The songs that make up "Arctic Thunder" have the same influences from the last records, that is, the old black metal played by Celtic Frost, metal punk and crude heavy metal (although Fenriz is wearing a Napalm Death shirt on the back cover, the album has no grindcore influence). So, "Arctic Thunder" is better than "The Underground Resistance". The album's title was inspired by an extinct Norwegian band called Arctic Thunder and they played heavy/thrash metal. You can compare all the albums and stages of Darkthrone and choose which are your favorite records, but if you deny the essence and power of this album is a tremendous stupidity. Anyway, "Arctic Thunder" is a very good album!

É o seguinte, esse álbum da Morbid Angel está muito diferente dos demais gravados por eles e "Illud Divinum Insanus" pode até ser considerado o pior registro da banda. Dos onze sons que compõem o álbum, algumas músicas podem até ser legais (para algumas pessoas), mas nada além disso. Neste álbum rola uns lances de industrial que não combina muito com a Morbid Angel (considerando os clássicos álbuns lançados no passado). Muito fraco! 


Right, this Morbid Angel album is very different from the others recorded by them and "Illud Divinum Insanus" may even be considered the worst record of the band. Of the eleven tracks that make up the album, some songs may be cool (for some people), but nothing more. In this album has a certain influence of industrial music that does not match much with the musicality of Morbid Angel (considering the classic albums released by the band in the past). This album is weak!
