Eu imagino que esse split EP surgiu através da tour que a Instinct of Survival fez em 2016 no Japão, ou seja, parceria e amizade. Pois bem, a Instinct of Survival se apresenta com duas faixas chamadas "Menschenfeind" (a melhor e a mais agressiva) e "Fading Footsteps" (originalmente lançada no álbum "Call of the Blue Distance"). A Life (Liberty Independence Freedom Equality) vem destruindo tudo com as suas três as faixas que compõem este split EP. Muito bom!


I imagine that this split EP came about through the tour that Instinct of Survival did in 2016 in Japan, that is, partnership and friendship. Well, Instinct of Survival features two tracks called "Menschenfeind" (the best and the most aggressive song)and "Fading Footsteps" (originally released on the album "Call of the Blue Distance"). Life (Liberty Independence Freedom Equality) destroys everything with its three tracks that make up this split EP. Very good!

ASH BORER - THE IRREPASSABLE GATE

Eu costumava dizer que a Ash Borer era uma banda cascadian black metal, mas depois de escutar esse álbum vou apenas dizer que eles são black metal. Por que? Não importa! De tudo que eu já escutei já lançado pela banda, "The Irrepassable Gate" é para mim o melhor álbum feito pela Ash Borer. As músicas são longas, ora agressivas, ora com melodias mórbidas deixando um aspecto sombrio neste álbum. Destaque para as faixas "The Irrepassable Gate", "Lacerated Spirit" e as instrumentais "Lustration I and II". Outra destaque é a arte de capa feita por Glyn Smyth (simplesmente sensacional e está lembrando as artes e esculturas das culturas egípcias e mesopotâmia). Muito bom!


I used to say that Ash Borer was a cascadian black metal band, but after listening to this album I will just say that they are black metal. Why? Does not matter! From everything I've heard that was released by the band, "The Irrepassable Gate" is for me the best album made by Ash Borer. The songs are long, sometimes aggressive, sometimes with morbid melodies leaving a dark aspect in this album. Highlight for the tracks "The Irrepassable Gate", "Lacerated Spirit" and the instrumental songs "Lustration I and II". Another highlight is the cover art made by Glyn Smyth (simply sensational and quite similar to the arts and sculptures of the Egyptian and Mesopotamian cultures). Very good!

A Nashgul é uma banda bem conhecida no cenário brasileiro, pois em 2004 eles gravaram um split com a Jäpürä Noise Project. Desde então, a Nashgul gravou vários registros em conjunto com outras bandas e "Cárcava" é o seu segundo álbum. Gravado em 2016, "Cárcava" é um álbum rápido, explosivo e totalmente destruidor. Eu posso dizer que a Nashgul é o Brutal Truth espanhol devido o poder de influência e intensidade no barulho dos caras. As catorze faixas que compõem esse álbum seguem essas características citadas. Faixas como "Progeria Inducida", "Social Network Martyrs", "Matriz de Manipulación", "Guerra Drone", "Cyberpunk Scum", "Taxidermia" e "Premature Burial (Live Like a Dead)" (Ryo Yamada (Gvenna, ex-Coffins com convidado especial nos vocais) são os maiores destaques desse álbum. Excelente álbum e totalmente grindcore!

Nashgul is a well known band in the Brazilian scene, because in 2004 they recorded a split with Jäpürä Noise Project. Since then Nashgul has recorded several records together with other bands and "Cárcava" is the second album. Recorded in 2016, "Cárcava" is a fast, explosive and totally destructive album. I can say that Nashgul is the Spanish Brutal Truth because of the power of influence and intensity in the noise of the guys. The fourteen tracks that make up this album follow these characteristics. Tracks such as "Progeria Inducida", "Social Network Martyrs", "Matriz de Manipulación", "Guerra Drone", "Cyberpunk Scum", "Taxidermia" e "Premature Burial (Live Like a Dead)" (additionals vocals by Ryo Yamada (Gvenna, ex-Coffins) are the biggest highlights of this album. Excellent album and totally grindcore!

Porra! Que banda foda! Body Void é uma banda nova e eu descobri eles no meio do ano passado e desde então eu tenho curtido o som deles pra caralho. A Body Void toca uma música sinistra, macabra, obscura e muito pesada com vocais gritados e agonizantes. Musicalmente a banda é influenciada por Grief, Noothgrush e Corrupted (isso é bastante evidente e eu acho ótimo). "Ruins" foi lançado em 2016 e contém quatro faixas de ótima qualidade, mas eu destaco "Swan" e "Ruins" como os sons mais marcantes. Ainda devo acrescentar que a Body Void é uma das grandes revelações de 2016. Foda!

Fuck! This band is excellent! Body Void is a new band and I listened to them in the middle of last year and since then I have enjoyed the music made by them quite a lot. Body Void plays sinister, macabre, obscure and very heavy music with screaming and agonizing vocals. Musically the band is influenced by Grief, Noothgrush and Corrupted (this is pretty obvious and I think it's great). "Ruins" was released in 2016 and contains four tracks of great quality, but I highlight "Swan" and "Ruins" as the most remarkable songs. I still have to add that Body Void is one of the great revelations of 2016. Great!

Esse é terceiro lançamento da Fear of the Future e também seu primeiro full-length. Esse álbum auto-intitulado segue a fórmula dos registros anteriores, ou seja, a influência metal é nítida assim como a influência punk e também rock n' roll e tudo isso é colocado em um liqüidificador para se misturar com revolta nas palavras. Bandas como Motörhead, Judas Priest, GBH, Chaos UK, Thin Lizzy e Cólera são uma grande referência para esse álbum. Com relação ao Cólera, é possível sentir essa vibração nas faixas "Dívida", "Quem É Você?" e "Downgrade" (principalmente pelos refrões) e devo dizer que as letras desses sons são muito boas (digo isso em relação a realidade de merda). Outras faixas desse lançamento que merecem destaque são "Downtown Disillusion" (uma das primeiras faixas que eu escutei), "Decapitate! (The Traitors)", "Noite Fria" (inclusive possui um clipe) e "Leave Me Alone" (cover de Johnny Thunders). "Fear of The Future", "Let's Get High (Before It's Too Late)" e "Destroy" são também bons sons mas são regravações da primeira demo (e daí?). Esse álbum é muito bom e ao escutá-lo eu sinto a mesma energia do show que assisti em BH em 2013 no MetalPunk Overkill II. "Fear of the Future" foi lançado no final de 2015, porém eu só escutei o álbum completo em 2016 e também em 2017, então pra mim é um dos melhores registro de 2016. Foda-se e destrua!

This is Fear of the Future's third release and also its first full-length. This self-titled album follows the formula from previous records, meaning the metal influence is evident as well as punk influence and also rock n' roll and all this is put into a blender to blend in with revolt in the words written by the band. Bands like Motörhead, Judas Priest, GBH, Chaos UK, Thin Lizzy and Cólera are a great reference for this album. With regard to Cólera, you can feel this vibration in the songs "Dívida", "Quem É Você?" and "Downgrade" (mainly by the choruses) and I must say that the lyrics of these songs are very good (I say this in relation to shit reality). Other tracks of this release that deserve mention are "Downtown Disillusion" (one of the first tracks I have heard from this album), "Decapitate! (The Traitors)", "Noite Fria" (this track has a video clip) and "Leave Me Alone" (Johnny Thunders cover). "Fear of the Future", "Let's Get High (Before It's Too Late)" and "Destroy" are also good songs but re-recorded and originally released by the band in the first demo (so what?). This album is very good and listening to this I feel the same energy of the show I attended in Belo Horizonte in 2013 at MetalPunk Overkill II. "Fear of the Future" was released at the end of 2015, but I only listened to the full album in 2016 and also in 2017, so for me it's one of the best records of 2016. Fuck and destroy!

Infernöh é uma banda sueca que toca crustcore/d-beat/hardcore bem barulhento, ou seja, eles destroém a música bem ao estilo punk sueco mesmo. O barulho é massa e eu gostei. "War Tjard" foi lançado em 2012 e esse registro se resume da seguinte forma: caos, barulho e foda-se! Total fucking mangel!!!

Infernöh is a Swedish band that plays crustcore/d-beat/hardcore well noisy, that is, they destroy the music in the mold of the Swedish punk style. The noise is good and I like it. "War Tjard" was released in 2012 and this record is summarized as follows: chaos, noise and fuck! Total fucking mangel!!!

MAGRUDERGRIND - II

"II" é o melhor álbum lançado pela Magrudergrind e isso não quer dizer que os outros registros são ruins. O que você vai escutar em "II" é uma mistura anti musical de grindcore, powerviolence e hardcore/punk, na qual totaliza quinze faixas bem barulhentas. As minhas faixas favoritas são "Black Banner", "Incarceration State" e "Unit 731" (o Slayer gravou uma música com o mesmo título e relata sobre a Auschwitz asiática). Pra quem gosta realmente de barulho, "II" é um dos melhores álbuns de 2016. Foda!

"II" is the best album released by Magrudergrind and that does not mean that the other records are bad. What you will hear on this album called "II" is an anti-music mix of grindcore, powerviolence and hardcore/punk, in which it totals fifteen very noisy tracks. My favorite tracks are "Black Banner", "Incarceration State" and "Unit 731" (Slayer recorded a song with the same title and reports on Asian Auschwitz). For those who really like noise, "II" is one of the best albums of 2016. Fuck!

ARMAGEDOM / NUCLEAR FROST - BARBÁRIE EPIDÊMICA [EP]

Split EP envolvendo duas bandas da qual eu gosto bastante. Armagedom, clássica banda do cenário brasileiro e ainda colocando lenha na fogueira para manter a chama acesa se apresenta com duas faixas chamadas "Assim Desabam As Vidas" e "Agonia Abissal". Nuclear Frost é outra banda que se mantêm firme no underground e dispensa maiores comentários, pois o que a banda toca é realmente foda e neste registro eles também se apresentam com duas faixas chamadas "Wargasm" e "Indian Genocide". Muito foda!

Split EP involving two bands that I really like. Armagedom is a classic band from the Brazilian scene and they are still putting firewood on the fire to keep the flames burning and the band plays two tracks called "Assim Desabam As Vidas" and"Agonia Abissal". Nuclear Frost is another band that stays firm in the underground scene and dispenses with more comments, because what the band plays is really great and in this record they also present themselves with two tracks called "Wargasm" and "Indian Genocide". Badass!

Antes de eu escutar essa banda, automaticamente eu associei o nome ao Decontrol (banda canadense), pois eles gravaram uma música chamada "D.E.A.D." do álbum "In Trenchs..." lançado no ano 2000. Porém a música feita pela D.E.A.D é totalmente diferente do caos e da destruição executada pela Decontrol. Como eu posso dizer... Ok, a D.E.A.D toca hardcore/punk bem energético com bons riffs de guitarra dando toda sintonia para música. A banda é composta por ex membros de bandas como Paintbox, Pinnochio, Psyren, Veihaiz, Dropend e entre outras.

Before I listened to this band, I automatically associated the name with Decontrol (Canadian band) because they recorded a song called "D.E.A.D." from the album "In Trenchs..." released in the year 2000. But the music made by D.E.A.D is totally different from the chaos and destruction carried out by Decontrol. How can I say... Ok, D.E.A.D plays hardcore/punk very energetic with good guitar riffs giving all tune to music. The band is composed of former members of bands like Paintbox, Pinnochio, Psyren, Veihaiz, Dropend and others.

"Security Shutdown" é composto por oito faixas viscerais, cruas e cheias de revolta. Destaque para as faixas: "Out Of Your Circle" e "A Lifetime To Burn", embora todas as outras são faixas são boas. Outro destaque são as letras, pois relatam os problemas na Itália, Brasil ou em qualquer lugar desse planeta onde o Estado comanda (mundo globalizado), ou seja, são os mesmo e isso acaba fortalecendo o capitalismo. Escute Polis-Äckel e estimule ainda mais a sua revolta!
