Consisting of only two tracks, Duality was released by Profane Existence in vinyl and follows the same precepts as the first demo and that's great! The Heretics is Rotting Christ's 13th album and was released in 2019. First, the cover art that was made by Maximos Manolis already catches the eye and automatically notes the connection to the album title. Musically, the Tolis brothers (Sakis and Themis) have made The Heretics follow a more modern line by assimilating a bit with Rituals, the 2016 album, where it pleases those who enjoy Soulfly (the track "Heaven and Hell and Fire" is a good example) and Behemoth, for example. This split brings together two very good bands from Malmö. The first is Anhedoni who plays very aggressive crustcore/hardcore/punk on all five tracks, highlighting "Våld" which is a Remiso cover sung in Swedish (in this case it's "Violência", Remiso's first demo song). Remiso mixes hardcore/punk with metal and features five tracks, highligthing "Antimilitar", "Burn Your Flag" (Crutches cover) and "Försupen Förlorad" (Anhedoni cover), in which the last two tracks mentioned are sung in Portuguese. So cool! Esse split reúne duas bandas muito massa de Malmö. A primeira é a Anhedoni que toca crustcore/hardcore/punk bem agressivo nas cinco faixas, destacando o "Våld" que é um cover da Remiso cantado em sueco (neste caso se trata de "Violência", canção primeira demo da Remiso). On the other side are the Poles of Nuclear Holocaust. Well, I first heard Nuclear Holocaust through this split and they play grindcore with death metal influences. Good!
Depois do espetacular e matador Deformed By Law, álbum de 2018, a Expurgo está de volta. Neste split lançado no início de 2019, a Expurgo segue destruindo e isso é ótimo. Do outro lado são os poloneses da Nuclear Holocaust. Bem, conheci eles através deste split e a Nuclear Holocaust toca grindcore com influências death metal. Bom!
With four heavy and filthy tracks, the Argentines of Ruinas breaks everything and show a lot of efficiency in this record. The French of Lust For Death present themselves with two tracks, in which they follow a similar rhythm to Ruinas, that is, heavy and metallic stenchcore/crust. The cover art is very fucking great and really gets a lot of attention, but I don't know who the creator is. In short, one of the best split LP released in 2019. ¡Muy bien! Très bien! Com quatro faixas pesadas e sujas, os argentinos da Ruinas arrebentam tudo e mostram bastante eficiência neste registro. Já os franceses da Lust For Death se apresentam com duas faixas, na qual seguem com um ritmo semelhante ao da Ruinas, ou seja, stenchcore/crust pesadão e metalizado. A arte de capa é muito foda e realmente chama muita atenção, porém não sei quem é o criador. Em suma, um dos melhores split LP lançados em 2019. ¡Muy bien! Très bien!
