BLACK MONOLITH - PASSENGER

A primeira vez que eu escutei a Black Monolith foi em 2011, quando eles lançaram a sua primeira demo e eu gostei bastante. Em 2014 a banda lançou o seu primeiro full-length chamado "Passenger" e é claro, este álbum está muito melhor que a demo. Composto por seis faixas, "Passenger" é uma mistura das trevas entre o black metal com crust. Todas as faixas são muito boas, mas eu destaco "Adhere" (a primeira música que eu escutei desse novo álbum) e "Victims & Hangmen". A arte de capa deste álbum ficou massa, porém eu não sei que foi o autor. Enfim, escute isso pois está muito bom.

The first time I listened to Black Monolith was in 2011 when they released the first demo and I really liked it. In 2014 the band released their first full-length called "Passenger" and of course, this album is much better than the demo. Composed of six tracks, "Passenger" is a dark mix of black metal with crust. All tracks are very good, but I highlight "Adhere" (the first song I listened to this album) and "Victims & Hangmen". The cover art of this album is amazing, but I don't know who authored. Anyway, you have to listen to this album because it is very good.

Primeiro, Axewield é o ex-Effigy e este álbum "Wisdom of Doom" foi lançado em 2010. Composto por quatro faixas, este álbum é totalmente crust metálico e com grande influência da Amebix. Massa!

Essa banda é composta por Charlie (bateria - Anti Cimex), Ted (guitarra - Gamla Pengar), Dennis (vocal - DooM) e Daniel Kjölsrud (baixo). Este EP chamado "Bordello Hospital" contém quatro faixas de puro hardcore/punk (rápido, alto, caótico e sem melodias). A letra da faixa título é algo bem semelhante a um acontecimento que me envolveu em 2006. Hardcore violentamente! 

Wow! You don't know Bring The Drones? Gravesite é uma nova banda italiana. Essa banda é total death metal com grande influências de bandas suecas e holandesas (Entombed, Dismember, Gorefest e Sinister). Essa demo foi lançada em 2014 e consiste em três faixas. Muito bom! Gravesite: Claudio (baixo - Bland Vargar), David (bateria - Haemophagus, Morbo e Stasis), Giole (guitarra - Haemophagus) e Gabri (vocal - Cancer Spreading). 

Gravesite is a new Italian band. This band is the total death metal with great influences of Swedish and Dutch bands (Entombed, Dismember, Gorefest and Sinister). This demo was released in 2014 and consists of three tracks. Very good! Essa banda texana é excelente. Versklaven é uma banda com grande influência de bandas como Deviated Instinct, Sacrilege, Axegrinder e Antisect, além de bandas da cena crust japonesa (S.D.S., Disturd, Revölt e Effigy/Axewield). Essa demo foi lançada em 2014 e contém seis faixas explosivas de crust metálico (está disponível no bandcamp apenas três faixas). 

This Texan band is excellent. Versklaven is a band with great influence from bands like Deviated Instinct, Sacrilege, Axegrinder and Antisect and also bands from Japanese crust scene (S.D.S., Disturd, Revölt and Effigy/Axewield). This demo was released in 2014 and contains six tracks of explosive metallic crust (available on bandcamp only three tracks).

MÁCULA / SEEDS IN BARREN FIELDS - SPLIT

Antes de mais nada, esse split é muito bom. Nestas quatro faixas, a Mácula nos mostra que veio para cravar o seu nome no cenário crust. O som produzido por essa banda é blackened crust com características próprias (riffs agressivos e melancólicos, bateria rápida e vocais nervosos). Inclusive a Mácula participou da primeira compilação desse blog (Crushead Vol. 1) com a faixa "Ideias Incendiárias". Seeds In Barren Fields é uma banda sueca e eu ouvi pela primeira vez a sua música através desse split. Bem, musicalmente essa banda é death metal melódico com influência crust (algo semelhante feito pela Agrimonia). 

First of all, this split is very good. These four tracks, Mácula shows us that came to strengthen its name in the crust scene. The sound produced by this band is blackened crust with characteristic (aggressive and melancholic riffs, fast drums and nervous vocals). Mácula also participated in the first compilation of this blog (Crushead Vol. 1) with the track "Ideias Incendiárias". Seeds In Barren Fields is a Swedish band and I first heard your music through this split. Well, musically this band is melodic death metal with crust influence (something similar done by Agrimonia).

Rütäbägä é uma nova banda dos Estados Unidos. "The Realm" é o seu primeiro registro ouvido por mim e percebe-se que a gravação desse material está bem crua (talvez seja uma gravação de um ensaio). Independente disso, a banda fez boas músicas (bons riffs de guitarra) com boas ideias. 

Rütäbägä is a new band from the United States. "The Realm" is your first record heard by me and recording of these songs are raw. (may be a recording of a rehearsal). Regardless, the band made good songs (good guitar riffs) with good ideas.

AHNA é uma banda até então desconhecida por mim e esses canadenses tocam crust com influências death metal. "Who's in Charge" foi lançado em 2013 e a Contorture nos mostrou a proposta da banda e neste split a banda continua a mesma. Ambas as bandas são muito legais.

Como é bom escutar Hellshock. Sim, meu caro, é muito bom. Independente do álbum, split ou EP, a banda gravou só músicas massas. Neste ano de 2014 os caras lançaram o seu novo EP chamado "Low Men In Yellow Cloaks" (este mesmo nome é a primeira faixa do último full-length "They Wait For You Still") e está ótimo como de costume. As duas faixas que compõem este EP se chamam "Demons of Fire" e "Enemy Within". Vale lembrar que quem está na banda agora é Ethan (Guided Cradle, Dread 101 e Mörkhimmel). Eu espero que essa formação lance um full-length. Hellshock: Joel (vocal), Hopper (guitarra), Keet (bateria), Derek (baixo) e Ethan (guitarra).

CANCER SPREADING / FATUM - SPLIT EP

Ótimo split EP com duas bandas que eu gosto muito! A primeira banda a se apresentar é a Cancer Spreading e eles tocam apenas uma música chamada "Insomnia", da qual é muito boa (eu posso dizer que a letra dessa música é a minha realidade e se pá a sua). Agora é a vez da Fatum. Eles tocam duas músicas chamadas "C.A.W./B.F.B." e "Charged By Punk, Poisoned By Metal" e também são muito boas. Bem, o único ponto negativo desse split EP é porque tem poucas músicas, embora as três músicas sejam muito boas. Enfim, simplesmente stenchcore/crust!!!

A primeira banda a se apresentar é a Ruinas, banda da Argentina. Composto por quatro faixas, os caras fazem um ruído massa. Influenciado por bandas como Deviated Instinct, Antisect, Axegrinder e Sanctum. Este registro está melhor que a demo lançada em 2013. A outra banda se chama Avitacion 101 e eles são do Uruguai. Essa banda toca hardcore/punk e também gravaram quatro faixas para esse split. Lembrando que ambas as bandas cantam em espanhol. Muito bom!

WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM - CELESTITE

O último álbum da Wolves in the Throne Room que eu escutei foi "Celestial Lineage" e eu achei muito chato naquele momento (ok, eu ainda acho esse álbum chato). Porém neste ano de 2014 a banda lançou o seu novo trabalho chamado "Celestite", da qual eu achei bom. Este novo álbum é totalmente instrumental e em determinados momentos você pode imaginar que está assistindo algum documentário sobre oceanos e mares, ou seja, vida submarina (em outras palavras, a típica trilha sonora desse tipo de documentário). Bem, a arte de capa não tem nenhuma característica da qual eu disse sobre o som feito por eles neste álbum, mas tudo bem. "Celestite" é um bom álbum e quem gosta de Sunn O))) certamente poderá gostar desse novo álbum. 

The last album of Wolves in the Throne Room I heard was "Celestial Lineage" and I did not like it (ok, for me this album is boring). But this year 2014 the band released their new work called "Celestite", which I like. This new album is totally instrumental and at certain times you can imagine you are watching a documentary on oceans and seas, ie underwater life (in other words, the typical soundtrack of such documentary). Well, the cover art has no feature of which I said about the sound made by them in this album, but that's ok. "Celestite" is a good album and those who like Sunn O))) can certainly enjoy this album.

Este álbum foi lançado em 2013, mas eu só fui escutar agora. Bem, isso não é nenhum problema, sendo que primeira música que eu ouvi foi "Valhalla" (eles gravaram um vídeo clipe para essa música). E claro "Korppien Paraati" é um excelente álbum. Composto por um onze faixas, este álbum é uma avalanche hardcore feito por velhos punks finlandeses. A última faixa é instrumental e se chama "Garganta Do Diabo". Eu gosto muito dessa banda e clássico é clássico. Riistetyt: Lazze (vocal), Piise (baixo), Perttu (bateria) e Vege (guitarra). 

This album was released in 2013 but I just listened to this album now (2014). Well, that's no problem and the first song I heard was "Valhalla" (they recorded a video clip for this song). Of course "Korppien Paraati" is an excellent album. Comprising an eleven tracks, this album is a hardcore avalanche done by old Finnish punks. The last track is instrumental song and is called "Garganta Do Diabo" (Garganta Do Diabo means 'Devil's Throat' in Portuguese). I really like this band and classic is classic. Riistetyt: Lazze (vocals), Piise (bass), Perttu (drums) and Vege (guitar).
